Witches Brew

How fun is this!? My cute friend new friend here in California threw a Witches Brew party where we had a witch hackle contest, drank spooky drinks, and played games around a bon fire! The decorations amazed me and this girl (whose brother started Yo Gabba Gabba) just went up 30 notches in my book... (I have no idea what that really means other than I have a total girl crush on her now ;) )

If only you could have seen all the decor. My pictures do not do justice to the dark and freaky decor. Her poor children must find it hard to sleep with all the goblins and spooky rats placed strategically around the house to scare the "hibbie - jibbies" out of you.

OH how I love Halloween. Do I dare say it is my favorite holiday? Ah, I don't know its a toss up between that and July holidays in Utah!

The tulle around my arms are toddler tutu's from the 99 cent store here in California! I just wrapped them around my arm twice and it really added to my witch costume. Total cost to make this simple black dress a witch outfit... 4 dollars!

Gross hot dog fingers!
- Cut slits into your hot dogs then boil with sliced onions.
- Once cooked use some ketchup to attach the onion sliver to act as a finger nail.

So gross but perfect for Halloween!! (not to be mistaken for something else you could use for a bachelorette party ;) )

At the end of the night we had a witch hackle contest, played games and gave out awards such as early bird, best costume, most resourceful costume (I won with my toddler tutu's around my arms).
Thanks to Mimi's Dollhouse for providing us with the awards.
