Who doesn't like Hot Chocolate....?
Wait, don't answer that because I want to stay in my denial that everyone likes it.
I am decorating a winter wonderland party for a client and part of the party is going to be a hot cocoa bar with these stir sticks as the highlight.
YOU NEED:
candy cane rods, marshmallows, sprinkles, and white chocolate!
HOW TO:
dip one stick of the candy cane rod into white chocolate. Next, insert that same end into the center of the marshmallow and let dry. Lastly, Dip the whole marshmallow in white chocolate to keep the marshmallow moist if you are going to be making these in advance and then sprinkles.
*** If you are making them right before the party then you can just dip the end of the marshmallow in chocolate and then into the sprinkles. If you don't cover the whole marshmallow in chocolate and wait a couple days before you serve them your marshmallow will become hard and stale.
SUPER EASY RIGHT? Now go make some for you next hot cocoa bar!
Here are the sticks I used if you want to recreate this yourself.... (click on the image)
such a fun idea! your version is soo cute!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun for the kids next winter. What did you use on the marshmallows to get the sprinkles to stick and did you use the same thing to hold the peppermint stick in the middle?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Linda
I used white chocolate. The kids would love to make these.
