Push Pop Favors

I made these Push Pop favors for a client who is having a helicopter birthday party over the weekend for her son. I thought they turned out cute and a different take on a party favor.

If you are interested in making them then here you go:

Material Needed:
* Push Pops (you can purchase them through me)
* Hammer
*Styrofoam
*Wrapping Paper
*Something to puncture the wrapping paper with. (I used a screw head)

STEP 1.  Wrap up your Styrofoam with wrapping paper. Or if you suck at wrapping presents (uh hum, ME) then you can enlist your hubby to do it for you ;)

Step 2: Puncture a hole where you want the push pop to go. You do this so the wrapping paper doesn't tear when pushing in the push pop.

Step 3: Place the containers how you want them and repeat until all the way done!

Step 4: Fill with candy and decorate with tag.

***Pictures to come soon of the finished party.

Christmas Morning

First we woke up Dad.

Then we yelled and woke everyone else up...

Then Celebrated Christmas!

His favorite toy. (someone gave this to him for his birthday and I just hid it and rewrapped it since he wasn't old enough then for it... so thanks to whoever gave it to him.)

Rudolph Nose

Chase: "Hey Jaxon look at me, this is fun."

Jaxon: "No, it's not! take it off."

Jaxon: "I will show you fun."

Me: "This isn't going to end well."

Sure enough, I was right :)

Thin Mint Holiday Cookies.

This is pretty self explanatory right? They are super easy to make and oh so good. I bought some thin mints from the grocery store and drizzled them with white chocolate and candy cane sprinkles.

I used them for the Letters to Santa party

Adult Christmas Dinner

Every year my family does an adult dinner. No, not that type of an adult dinner but one with no kids allowed, except for the siblings I have that act like kids when we all get together ;)

Every year there is a theme and this year it was pajamas. I was all over that with my heart pj's! We had an amazing meal that started with "sprit-a-noggies" (sprit 7up and eggnog mixed) and ended with a crepe bar. We had our traditional white elephant gift exchange where I walked away with some flamingos and my brother with a jockstrap with suspenders, because that is totally normal. (I will spare you the picture of that)

Then my favorite part was the after party when most my family left. We had a half naked dancer come and entertain us... (PLEASE see pictures below to explain)

THE ENTERTAINMENT! (geese, what did you think I was talking about, we keep it "G" rated in my family)

Primary Graduation

For the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this is the time of year that Nursery kids are graduating. Some will be heading into primary and the oldest primary kids are off to Young Mens/Young Womens and I don't think there is a better way to get them excited about the new change ahead then giving them their own little graduation treats....

Enjoy!

Mini Cake Stands

This tutorial couldn't be easier. I purchased 3 bowels and 3 plates from target for 1.50 each and using my trusted glue I made mini cake stands. That means each one cost me only 3.00 dollars and were oh so cute!

I used them for a "letters to Santa" party.

Letters To Santa Party

Last Saturday my family held their annual gingerbread decorating party, but this time I decided to add a new element to the fun. I put together a "Letter's To Santa" display where the kids could write letters to Santa.

Enjoy...

The Treats:

The party favors:

"Make a wish and close your eyes tight. Then sprinkle on your lawn at night. As santa's Reindeer fly and roam, this food will guide them to your home."
