Wood Chalk Board Sign

This week is dedicated to all things lemonade. One of the many reasons why I love summer is seeing all the lemonade stands on every corner. It always puts a smile on my face hearing the kids scream at the top of their lungs desperately trying to get anyone to stop.

Everyday this week I am going to show you some fun tutorials and treats that will make your kids lemonade stand a MUST see.

I will also being doing two different giveaways. The first is from The Wood Connection so you can recreate many of the items you will see this week. Then there will be one on Thursday for a free mini photo shoot worth 100 dollars.

Here is how the week is going to go...

Monday: Chalk Board Lemonade signs
Tuesday: Lemonade/photo booth bench
Wednesday: What I Wore Wednseday lemonade edition (trust me this one is a must see)
Thursday: Reveal of the entire lemonade stand with many pictures PLUS a giveaway for a free photo shoot with the lemonade stand as a back drop worth 100 dollars.

Let's get started with my first tutorial on chalk board lemonade signs

You Need:
8x10 wood block
8x8 wood block
2 wooden dowels at different lengths
Chalkboard Paint
and colored chalk

What To Do:
step 1: Prime your wood block.
Step 2: Paint with your color of chalkboard paint. Follow directions on the bottle.
Step 3: Chalk over the whole board. This will help get chalk into all the pours of the wood and allow you to write over and over with out seeing what you previously wrote on the chalk board.
Step 4: Choose your price :)
Step 5: Place on wooden dowel and insert into grass

All the paper and dowels are also from The Wood Connection.

Now go grab a glass of lemonade and enter in to win that 25 dollar gift certificate from The Wood Connection to recreate this look.

You know you want to :)
